Frankfurt, Vienna & Birmingham – spotting at speed…

We had a night up at BHX because of the really early departure to Munich, and absolutely no time at Munich at all, so much so that if it hadn’t been for Munich Meet & Greet Service who come down to the arrival gate and escort you VIP style, to your next aircraft, we would never have made it despite Lufthansa’s protestations to the contrary!

Some nice aircraft and good weather at BHX – it had never been my intention to go spotting, but when your better half knows you better than you know yourself it seems and says, “right I’ve got my camera are we going over there or what?” Well I didn’t need asking twice.

Some of these photos are pretty good, some are included more as a matter of interest – iPhones through aircraft windows or filthy green tinted terminal glass are not always ideal, but I’ve done the best I could with the limited kit and circumstances. A few of them way better than I expected, some somewhat less so.
